ABOUT KERRY

In my artistic journey, I have found solace and inspiration in the most unexpected places. After experiencing a life-altering event that led to persistent migraines, I discovered a unique way to channel my emotions and perceptions into art. My work is a reflection of the vibrant palette of colors that I see before the onset of a migraine headache. These intense hues, from magenta and neon pink to blues, turquoise, and bright yellows, become the language through which I express myself.

Embracing this kaleidoscope of colors, I strive to capture the essence of mindfulness and joy in my art. My subjects often revolve around the simple yet profound beauty of backyard birds and floral still life. Through these representations, I seek to invite viewers into moments of tranquility and presence, where they can connect with nature's splendor and find respite from life's challenges.

Each brushstroke and stroke of the pen is a testament to the transformative power of art in my life. It has become a conduit through which I navigate the complexities of my daily struggles with migraines, finding strength and resilience in every creation. I hope that my art not only shares the beauty I see but also serves as an inspiration for others to discover their own path of self-discovery, embracing creativity as a means of finding joy amidst life's trials.
